Meet Gretel

I AM A PROFESSIONAL  PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN LUXEMBOURG, SPECIALISING IN FAMILY PORTRAITS, NEWBORNS, CHILDREN, WEDDINGS AND HEADSHOTS.

As a multilingual professional photographer, three ingredients are fundamental for Gretel: capturing the perfect light: “the golden hour”, bringing her Cuban, colorful and happy spirit into her work, and last but not least, lifelong learning to continually grow in her art. During photo sessions, the number one focus for Gretel is to allow time for the client to feel comfortable, relax and make it a fun moment.

In my work as a photographer, the capacity to understand what my clients need, want and appreciate, allows me to better understand myself.

At the age of 17 she had her first camera, and since then she always carried a point-and-shoot camera with her. Growing up, time spent with her grandfather taught her love for family and old family photos, especially those of Gretel’s very glamorous grandmother. Gretel was fascinated by these time-traveling moments. Since then, uninterrupted technical and artistic training has only increased her expertise.

Fixing a memory in time continues to be the guiding principle of her photography. That's why Gretel specializes in family portraits, newborns, children as they grow, weddings and headshots.
